In my lifetime, UT has won 1 national championship and Alabama has won 1 national championship so in my eyes they are equal. I could care less on what happened before I was in this world, it really doesn't matter. I have some sweet photos of last years game both of UT and Bama but they are not uploaded on the web and I have no clue how to get them up without that.
